7Jul 2010 Kesha, Like, Talks Rihanna’s Last Girl On Earth Tour

Ke$ha’s debut album Animal has sold over 784-thousand copies since its release back in January. The singer will be opening for Rihanna on her Last Girl on Earth Tour, which kicks off tomorrow night, and our favorite hot mess is really looking forward to the tour.
“Rihanna’s (tour is) gonna be so insane. It’s gonna be so fun. It’s like a two month long dance party with like hot babes everywhere and like just fun times and lasers and, you know, good songs.”
Ke$ha also spoke about what fans can expect from her shows with Rihanna…
“I really want, like, when people come to my show, I want them to kind of be like, ‘Wow, I just went to like, this like, party’ not like a musical show where you sit down and watch. I want people to feel involved. Um…and hopefully leave covered in sweat and glitter, and maybe beer and, you know, hopefully on a mission to get laid afterwards. I hope I can inspire people to want to get laid.”

Raven Symone, ‘Demi Lovato Is Incredible’

Legendary Disney star Raven Symone dished to Popstar! about how it was to guest star on Sonny With A Chance. How has it been working with Demi? She’s incredible. She’s such a beautiful, talented girl and have a lot of fun together. She’s a rockstar! She’s got this amazing ability to just be natural in any situation. She never seems fake or like she’s acting. She’s really gifted.
What advice do you have for new Disney stars [Miley, Selena, Demi, etc]? The one thing I would tell people is that you have to enjoy every minute of this. We working a business where no matter how big you are today, it could be all taken away from you tomorrow. You just have to completely love every minute of what you’re doing. And I do! Demi revealed she is now more aware of herself:
‘I know myself a little better now. I’m more aware of life and people and the way the business works and it’s definitely for the better. I think that I’m able to protect myself a little more but still learn more and teach other people.’

ARTICLE: ‘I was bullied’ – Demi Lovato speaks out

Demi Lovato is using her tween fame to address TV’s latest hot-button topic — bullying.
“Real Housewives of New York’s” Kelly Bensimon created a homemade PSA against “systematic bullying” — and the Cartoon Network and CNN are readying a new fall anti-bullying campaign — so it’s no surprise that the once-bullied star of Disney Channel’s hit “Sonny With a Chance” is speaking out about the subject.
“Bullying is a very serious thing to me, I’ve witnessed it first hand — I was bullied myself when I was 12,” says Lovato, now 17, referring to how classmates picked on her because she was a working actress. Things got so bad, she turned to home schooling.
Lovato, who’s hooked up with teensagainstbullying.org, says that her 8-year-old little sister Madison De La Garza, who stars on “Desperate Housewives,” has helped inspire her passion for the subject.
“She’s getting to that age where she could start becoming insecure,” Lovato says. “I want to be able to help other girls around her age come into their own with a strong confidence in their skin, their size, who they are and everything about themselves.”
Many teen stars bristle at the notion of having role model status thrust upon them, but Lovato says she’s fine with it.
“Nobody wants pressure and wants to be under a magnifier glass, but there are ways to be role models without claiming to be perfect,” she says.
“I’m learning and dealing with experiences that all teenagers go through. The way I want to be a role model is not by not making mistakes . . . but by helping people overcome things from the obstacles that I’ve overcome.
“That’s how I want to use my voice and that’s how I want to be a role model.”

DEMI LOVATO WANTS TO INSPIRE OTHERS FROM THE OBSTACLES SHE’S OVERCOME

One cause that Demi Lovato has always been very vocal about is bullying.
Demi recently opened up to the NY Post about the subject and being a role model.
On bullying: Bullying is a very serious thing to me, I’ve witnessed it first hand — I was bullied myself when I was 12.
On being inspired by little sister Madison De La Garza: She’s getting to that age where she could start becoming insecure. I want to be able to help other girls around her age come into their own with a strong confidence in their skin, their size, who they are and everything about themselves.
On being a role model: I’m learning and dealing with experiences that all teenagers go through. The way I want to be a role model is not by not making mistakes . . . but by helping people overcome things from the obstacles that I’ve overcome. That’s how I want to use my voice and that’s how I want to be a role model.
